• Over a decade of polyester manufacturing and R&D in DuPont Kinston Plant.
• Invented several key technologies, filed 8 patents in behalf of DuPont.
• In December 2002, Dr. Duan left DuPont and joined Glysil Chemicals Inc.
• Invented antipilling technology for TPA in 2003, US patent issued in 2004.
• Invented new BaSO4 slurry
preparation technology, US patent granted in 2010.
